  • We are so excited for Shepherd + Edge Camp 2026, our favorite week of the year where we come together as a community for a fun week of fellowship for all ages! 


    Below are the Shepherd + Edge Camp adult volunteer opportunities. 


    Remember, there is no Shepherd Camp without our volunteers, so we truly need your help!


    💡  Camp Schedules:

     
    - Shepherd Camp| Monday, June 22 – Friday, June 26, 9a-12p

    - Edge Camp| Monday, June 22 – Friday, June 26, 9a-3p 

    (with off-campus field trips most days) 

     
    💡 Nursery care is available for all volunteers with children not yet old enough to attend camp.

     
    💡 All volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation during camp set up on Sunday, June 21 at noon. Lunch will be provided. Wear your Shepherd Camp t-shirt to church that day.

  • What is your relationship to Good Shepherd?*
  • T-Shirt Preference: Preferred T-shirt Size (all sizes listed are for 100% cotton adult shirts). Please note: We will only order shirts for volunteers participating in the week of camp. If you are serving in another volunteer role please select "No shirt".*
  • 5 Day Leader for Camper Groups: Responsible for small group of children for all 5 days of camp. You will be paired with an adult assistant and 1-2 youth assistants. Keep daily attendance records and greet children each day. Lead group to each rotation and assist creative teachers during rotations in maintaining decorum. Must arrive to camp at 8:30a and stay after camp each day for lunch and debrief (one hour). Time commitment: 4.5 hours daily. All five day leaders must be trained in Safeguarding God’s Children in advance of camp.
  • Assistant Group Leader: You will be assisting the 5 Day Group Leaders in being responsible for a small group of children. Assistant leaders can sign up for one or multiple days of camp. Must arrive to camp at 8:30a and stay until your group of campers have been picked up. Time commitment: 3.5 hours daily. Assistant Group Leaders will not stay after camp for lunch/debrief.
  • Assistant Group Leaders Availability: Please let us know which days you are available to volunteer. We will reach out prior to camp to confirm this date still works for you.
  • Camper Snack and Playground Volunteers Monitor and supervise snack and playtime on the big and small playgrounds. Make sure water stations are full. Time commitment is 3 hours per day.
  • Nursery Care: We will have the nursery open for volunteers with little ones not old enough for camp. Do you plan to utilize the nursery? *
  • Nursery Care Media Release: I hereby give my consent to all photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings of my minor child or myself taken by the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd staff or their designee. I understand such photographs and recordings become the property of Good Shepherd and may be used by the parish for educational, instructional, or promotional purposes.
  • Food Allergies: Lunch is served for 5-day leaders and rotation leaders. If you are serving in that capacity, please let us know of your dietary needs. *
