My signature below verifies that I understand that I am expected to follow the code of behavior outlined for this trip. Failure to do so could result in disciplinary action, including being sent home early, disqualification for future trips, and dismissal from the program.
Behavior expectations:
Identification: Students are expected to wear their identification lanyard at all times.
Respect for Authority: Students should understand that teachers, chaperones, and other adults in charge should be respected and obeyed at all times during the trip. Students should listen carefully to instructions provided by teachers, chaperones, and tour guides, and follow them promptly.
Stay with the Group: Students must remain with their assigned group or buddy system at all times. Students should be in groups of 3 or more at all times.
Respect for Property: Students should treat all facilities, exhibits, and equipment with respect. Vandalism or theft will not be tolerated.
Mindful Behavior: Students should be mindful of their behavior and how it may impact others around them. Loud or disruptive behavior should be avoided, especially in public places. Running, pushing, shoving, or any form of roughhousing should be prohibited to prevent accidents and injuries. No public displays of affection (kissing, hugging, hand-holding, etc.) is permitted.
Dress Code: Students should not wear anything offensive, revealing. Shirts must have sleeves. No short-shorts allowed. No sleepwear allowed.
No Alcohol, Drugs, or Tobacco: The use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco products is strictly prohibited during the field trip.
Cell Phone Policy: You may use your phones during the trip as long as they do not cause a disruption.
Be On Time: Students should arrive on time at designated meeting points and be punctual throughout the day to ensure that the itinerary is followed smoothly.
Respect for Others: Respect the rights and feelings of others, including fellow classmates, teachers, tour guides, and members of the public. No bullying/harassment will be tolerated.
