  • Thank you for your interest in the Velocity Summer Internship Program.

    Your internship opportunity will provide talented, local Vista high school students interested in your industry with a rewarding and impactful experience. 

     

    • Open to all incoming Seniors, graduating class of 2027. 
    • The Internship will consist of 100 hours.
    • Internship hours to be completed between June 10th through August 9, 2026.
    • If we find that your company is a good match, you will be contacted by the Vista Chamber of Commerce with information regarding a mandatory orientation (with 2 options to attend: virtually via Zoom or in-person).
    • Student compensation will be provided by the Vista Chamber of Commerce. 
    • Internship placements will be assigned in early May based on their career and educational interests. 
    • Final selection of intern to be determined by host company. 
    • Intern schedule subject to host company needs.

  • This program is funded through our partnership with Vista Unified School District and local schools. Financial support from participating businesses helps us stretch program dollars and provide more opportunities for students and employers.

  • Once you have submitted this Interest Form, you will be contacted by our Workforce Development Coordinator from the Vista Chamber of Commerce.
