2026 Occoquan Community Peeps® Contest

Build your very own PEEPS® diorama and hop into the fun for a chance to win a $50 prize!

Now in its 9th year, the community is invited to take part in the Occoquan PEEPS Show, happening April 1–4, 2026. Get creative by designing and submitting a family-friendly PEEPS® diorama—all ages welcome!

Compete in one of four categories:

Kids (10 and under)
Youth (ages 11–16)
Adults (17 and up)
Group/Family

Community Voting:
View and vote for your favorites at Town Hall, April 1–4.
Winners in each category will be announced once ballots are counted on April 4 at approximately 4:15 PM.

CONTEST DETAILS

We kindly ask that everyone use the online form to submit their registration. This will help us prepare for the contest in advance and ensure everything runs smoothly.

GENERAL

- Open to all ages. There is no fee and is open to the general public. Limit one entry per category.
- Categories: Kids (10 and under), Youth (ages 11–16), Adults (17 and up), and Group/Family

DIORAMA SPECIFICATIONS
- Diorama display should have a family-friendly theme.
- Diorama size should be between one shoebox and no larger than 12” x 14”.
- Final project should be easily transportable by one person.
- All characters in the diorama should be made using PEEPS®.
- All visible parts of the diorama should be decorated.

HOW TO SUBMIT
- Dioramas will be accepted at Town Hall Monday & Tuesday (March 30 & 31). Town Hall is located at 314 Mill Street in Occoquan and open M-F from 10am to 4pm.

VOTING & WINNERS
- The public will be invited to vote for their favorite dioramas in person at Town Hall during open hours 10am - 4 pm between April 1-4. One vote per category per person.
- Winners will be announced about 4:15pm on April 4 via Facebook, and all entrants will be emailed.
- First place winners in each category will win a prize worth $50.

OTHER INFO
- By entering the diorama contest, applicants give the Town of Occoquan permission to use photos of entries. Photos of winners may also be taken.
- Entries from Town Council Members, Town Staff, and Town Businesses are not eligible to win prizes in this contest.
- Entries must be collected by March 31. Unless other arrangements have been made, entries will be discarded on April 10.
