Activity: Youth Getaway 2026

Activity Details:

Depart Ladysmith on Friday May 1, 2026 (time to be determined) for Abbostford. Attend the Youth Getaway Conference and stay overnight at Christian Life Community Church. Return to Ladysmith on Sunday May 3, 2026 (time to be determined).

Cost:

Early Bird: $250 (Jan 20 - February 18)

Regular: $275 (February 19 - March 14)

Late: $300 (March 15 - April 2)

Payment is split into two:

Early Bird: Feb 18 - $150 | April 7 - $100

Regular: Mar 14 - $175 | April 7 - $100

Late: Apr 2 - $200 | April 7 - $100

This is an all inclusive payment which covers main meals (Friday Dinner to Sunday Dinner), transportation including ferry ticket, accomodations, and event ticket. If your student would like to purchase extra snacks or merchandise, please bring a form of payment with you.

We are planning an activity as part of our programming that requires your permission prior to participation. We have provided you the details of the activity and request that you complete and sign the permission form. Please note that all physical activities have risks. The safety of your child is our primary concern. Precautions will be taken for their well-being and protection.

The risks associated with the activity include but are not limited to: Travel by car: which carries the risk of traffic accidents or injury. Travel by ferry: including the risk of slips, falls, motion sickness, or weather delays. Physical activities and games, including inflatables, which may result in falls, bumps, or other injuries. Exposure to weather, illness, or fatigue.

I voluntarily agree and consent to the participation of my/our Child(ren) in this supervised activity.

While every precaution is taken for the safety and good health, some sports and activities carry with them the inherent risk of personal injury beyond the risks associated with many of the recreational activities at Bethel Church. I/we understand that I am exposing my Child to inherent risks and hazards. I accept all these risks and hazards and agree that by allowing my Child to participate in those activities and acknowledge that I will be responsible for any injury or other loss which may occur during my Child’s participation of these activities.

I/we, the Parents or guardians named below, authorize the Pastor or one of Bethel Church’s Personnel to sign consent for medical treatment and to authorize any physician or hospital to provide medical assessment, treatment or procedures for the participant named above.

I/we, named below, undertake and agree to indemnify and hold blameless Bethel Church, its Personnel, its leaders and Board from and against any loss, damage or injury suffered by the participant as a result of being part of the activities of Bethel Church, as well as of any medical treatment authorized by the supervising individuals representing Bethel Church. This consent and authorization is effective only when participating in or traveling to events of Bethel Church.
