Environmental & Sustainability Professional of the Year

The Environmental and Sustainability Professional of the Year award category recognises an individual who has driven meaningful environmental and sustainability outcomes within the civil construction industry. The recipient goes beyond compliance to influence decisions, practices, and systems that protect the environment, support responsible resource use, and deliver enduring sustainability benefits.

• This category is open to individuals working in environmental and/or sustainability roles who consistently exceed expectations, as well as employees who, while not formally responsible for these areas, demonstrate exceptional commitment to improving environmental and sustainability outcomes beyond their core duties.

• The nominee must be a Queensland based employee.

• The nomination is based on the nominee’s performance from 30 May 2025 to 18 May 2026 only.
  
  
• Only one (1) nominee per category, per company will be accepted in order of submission date.
  
  
• Nominations may be marked down or deemed inelgible if:
  • The submission exceeds the word limit set per criterion, or
  • The submission does not address each criterion.

All nominations must be formally approved by the nominee's employer or authorised representitive by signing this form.

All finalists should be available to attend the Excellence in Civil Construction Awards, held Friday 7 August 2026.

All nominations must be submitted by the closing date listed in the Key Dates section of this form.

If an extension is required, it must be requested prior to the closing date. Late submissions without prior approval will not be accepted. CCF QLD does not guarantee approval of an extension at any time.

Criterion 5 - Leadership & Collaboration = 25%
