Work Health and Safety Professional of the Year

The Work Health and Safety Professional of the Year award category recognises a safety professional within the civil construction industry who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, and measurable achievement in enhancing work health and safety performance across their workplace and/or projects.

• Nominees must hold a safety-related role within the civil construction industry, e.g., WHS Advisor, Safety Coordinator, HSE Manager, Safety Trainer, Site Safety Officer, etc.

• The nominee must have been in the role (either full-time or part-time) for at least six of the last 12 months at the time of submission.
• The nominee must be a Queensland based employee.

• The nomination is based on the nominee’s performance from 30 May 2025 to 18 May 2026 only.
  
  
• Only one (1) nominee per category, per company will be accepted in order of submission date.
  
  
• Nominations may be marked down or deemed inelgible if:
  • The submission exceeds the word limit set per criterion, or
  • The submission does not address each criterion.

All nominations must be formally approved by the nominee's employer or authorised representitive by signing this form.

All finalists should be available to attend the Excellence in Civil Construction Awards, held Friday 7 August 2026.

All nominations must be submitted by the closing date listed in the Key Dates section of this form.

If an extension is required, it must be requested prior to the closing date. Late submissions without prior approval will not be accepted. CCF QLD does not guarantee approval of an extension at any time.
