    Hosts Guidelines
  • 1. Host details

  • In each centre, the Host is the main coordinator of the EDAIC Part I. Hosts will be copied in all communications sent to the centre.

  • 2. EDAIC Part I material Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

    All questions, processes and material used for the EDAIC Part I belong to ESAIC. Part I Hosts and Assistants:

    - Must keep EDAIC material, questions & processes confidential and not disclose them to any third party, except as expressly authorised in writing by the ESAIC.

    - Must use EDAIC material, questions & processes solely for the purpose of the Part I examination.

    - Must take all reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of the EDAIC material, questions & processes, including but not limited to safeguarding it from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure.

  • 4. Capacity of Part I Examination

    Note about examination format:

    In 2026, the EDAIC Part I will be Paper & Online. As 2025 was the first year of working with a new online provider, only selected centres were contacted to organise the Part I online. After the 2025 pilot, the Examinations Committee aims to open online Part I format to more Part I centres.

  • Indicate below the total number of seats you can offer for the Part I in your centre as explained in the Host Guidelines for Paper & Computer Examination. Please consider that candidates cannot sit next to each other for the paper version! 

  • 5. Examination Rooms & Supervision

  • IMPORTANT : The Part I Hosts and their assistants cannot be a trainee and cannot be a candidate of the examination. The Part I Hosts and their assistants cannot register as Part I and OLA candidates within the 2 years that follow their hosting an examination centre. The Host will make sure to appoint assistants who can take part in the organisation of the examination without any conflict of interest. 

  • 6. Examination Room Costs

  • Host should book rooms that come free of charge whenever this is possible.

    Any room rental cost related to the examination has to be submitted for approval by the Examinations Committee. Please note that in that case, the office needs to receive an official offer (in PDF) with the following details:
