    $100/semester

Songwriting Club is an opportunity for experienced or aspiring songwriters/poets to dive into the art of writing a song. We’ll spend time studying songs and their rhyme schemes, use of poetic devices and discuss why lyrics may be effective and resonate with listeners. We’ll use that knowledge to guide us in writing our own poems/lyrics. Each week, we’ll use a different style of song to study and then emulate in our own writing. It is great if club participants play an instrument, however, it is not required!
