3-5:15pm: Beginner/Novice Open Sorting

Here’s your chance to expose your horse to a docile herd of Corriente cows and learn the rules of Ranch Sorting in a fun, supportive environment! This event is open to riders and their horses who have either lightly worked with or never worked with cattle but would like to give it a try. Jacob Street and John Kaminskis will be on hand to assist you and your horse and give you a tutorial on Ranch Sorting. This event is limited to 28 rider/horse combinations. Riders will be split into two groups. One will ride from 3-4pm and the other from 4:15-5:15pm. You will be notified via email of your time slot and are more than welcome to audit the opposing time slot. The cost is $45.00 per horse/rider combination.

6-8pm: 1:1 All Beginner/Novice Sort Jackpot

You and your partner have seven cows and thirty seconds to sort. No need to bring your own parter, we can arrange one for you! This event is limited to beginner and novice sorters of all ages. The cost is $5.00/Rider or $10.00/Team per draw. Each rider may compete in up to six draws as long as different partners are used. 80% Payback

*Rest breaks for the cows will be given at the discretion of management.
