Each year, UTrucking builds a high-performing team of movers to support Washington University students throughout the summer moving season.

Movers play a key role in day-to-day operations on campus and in our warehouse. You’ll handle student belongings, support logistics, work closely with teammates, and help deliver a smooth, positive experience for WashU students and families. The work is active, fast-paced, and requires attention to detail and professionalism. During peak periods in May and August, many shifts begin early and may run long depending on volume.

This role is designed for individuals who take pride in doing physical, team-based work and who show up motivated, positive, and ready to contribute.

SCHEDULE

Dates: May 1 – August 24
Shifts: Day and evening shifts available throughout the season
Hours: Shifts are typically 9 hours long and begin between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on Washington University’s campus

Important Information
Interview

The interview process includes a 15-minute phone interview with a hiring manager. If selected to move forward, you’ll also complete a 15-minute in-person interview.

After receiving your application, we’ll review it promptly and reach out as soon as possible to schedule a phone interview if you’re a good fit for the role.

Requirements

All team members must wear closed-toed shoes and professional attire, be able to lift 50 lbs, and demonstrate reliability, friendliness, and teamwork. Tattoos must be covered while on shift, and a clean criminal background check is required.
