    Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2026 HEPNet Annual Conference! The conference is from November 2-5, 2026 at Arizona State University. Please complete the fields below and share the topic and a brief description of what you would like to present on to submit a proposal. For any questions, please reach out to the Conference Program Committee at conference@higheredprotection.org.  
  • Session Options Overview
    Please read the session options below carefully. There are up to three (3) different session formats you may apply for per topic. You are welcome to submit proposals for multiple topics across different formats.

    Proposal Deadline: April 17, 2026
    Proposals will be accepted through end of day. 

    Educational Breakout Session (Offered November 3-5)

    • All breakout sessions will run 45-60 minutes in length
    • These are the classic conference sessions we know and love
    • Two-part sessions are welcome; please indicate in the description section below
    • Some sessions may be repeated to allow more attendees to benefit from the content

    Speed Round Session (Offered on November 3)

    • Speed round sessions are 12 minutes each in length
    • Speed rounds consist of a series of short, high-impact presentations on a variety of topics
    • These fast-paced sessions are designed to share key insights, best practices, and innovative ideas in a concise format
    • Presenters will deliver focused discussions, allowing attendees to gain valuable knowledge from multiple speakers in a single session

    Hot Topics Pre-Con Session (Offered on November 2)

    • Hot topics sessions will be 30 - 60 minutes in length.
    • These sessions will focus on urgent, emerging, and complex issues facing the youth protection field right now
    • Sessions will provide attendees with dedicated time to unpack, explore, and engage in much-needed conversations
    • Emphasis should be placed on dialogue, shared learning, and thoughtful discussion, creating space for participants to reflect, ask questions, and consider practical implications for their work

    If your proposal is accepted, please be prepared to complete a Speaker Agreement Form.
