  • Join The MINT Foundation for our Annual Back-to-School Giveaway and help make the start of the school year brighter for students and families across our community. This event provides children with backpacks, school supplies, clothing, food, health resources, and connections to community services that help set them up for success both inside and outside the classroom.

    As a volunteer, you'll assist with distributing supplies, supporting registration, helping families navigate the event, assisting vendors and community partners, and ensuring students have a positive and welcoming experience. Your time and energy will help create a memorable day that equips children with the tools and resources they need to begin the school year confident, prepared, and ready to learn.

  • Event Preparation Volunteer Opportunities (Monday - Friday)

    Volunteers will assist with unloading school supplies and event materials, staging backpacks, clothing, and other giveaway items in the gym for efficient distribution. They will help assemble and prepare backpacks by filling them with grade-appropriate school supplies for students. Volunteers will also sort, size, and organize donated clothing, prepare and stock classroom materials for the Teacher Supply Room, and sort and organize food items for community food distribution. Their efforts will help ensure all resources are properly prepared and available for students, teachers, and families attending the Back-to-School Giveaway.

  • Event Day Volunteer Opportunities (Saturday)

    Volunteers will assist with distributing backpacks, school supplies, clothing, food, and other giveaway items to students, families, and teachers throughout the event. They will help restock distribution areas as needed, organize supplies to keep lines moving efficiently, and provide general support to ensure a positive experience for attendees. At the conclusion of the event, volunteers will assist with breaking down boxes, organizing remaining materials, cleaning up event areas, and preparing unused supplies for future community programs.
