Your investment in SkillsUSA Nebraska and the state competition supports quality experiences for students and provides an opportunity for instructors, families, and young people to witness the passion and commitment of the next-generation workforce. SkillsUSA partners are supporters of career and technical education. Our partners have an opportunity to input on skill training, recruit top technical students, and empower our members to become skilled professionals, career-ready leaders, and responsible community members.
Over 3,000 people attended the 2025 SkillsUSA Nebraska Leadership and Skills Championships, including over 1,900 high school and post-secondary students and advisors. Students participated in over 140 hands-on skill and leadership contests.

The 2026 State Leadership and Skills Championships are set for April 9-11 at the Heartland Events Center and Fonner Park in Grand Island. Save the date and see us in action!

Industry partnerships make the event possible. Partners can give monetary sponsorship, in-kind donations, prizes for the medalists, contest supplies and materials, or scholarships. SkillsUSA seeks partners to coordinate contests, making sure each reflects industry standards, provide judges, or sponsor luncheons for the state officers or advisors. SkillsUSA Nebraska is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
