Apply for an Early Career Surgeon Grant
Residents, fellows, and early-career surgeons (within first five years of practice) are invited to apply for a travel grant to attend KASS 2026. Abstract presenters will be given priority in grant selection; learn more about submitting an abstract HERE.
You do not have to be of Korean heritage or a member of KASS to apply.

Instructions:
- Submit this form by April 16, 2026.
- If accepted, register for and attend the meeting.
- Grant recipients must attend an Early Career Surgeon Dinner on the evening of Thursday, July 9 and either a Non-CME Workshop or Early Career Surgeon Reception on Friday, July 10.
Approved grant recipients who fulfill the above conditions will receive:
- Complimentary registration
- $500 grant for travel expenses
- $200 nightly rebate on up to 3 nights' hotel stay at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa
Note: Early Career Surgeons are limited to a lifetime maximum of 2 grants awarded in support of their attendance at the KASS Annual Meeting.
