  • The Franklin County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) is seeking funding to help help income-eligible homeowners in Franklin County build, rehabilitate or bring up to code Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).

    Interested homeowners should complete this form to show interest, project readiness, and eligibility towards a funding application by FCEDC. The form is due March 27, 2026 at 5 PM. Please refer to the FAQ below for additional information on this funding.

  • Is the proposed ADU new construction or rehabilitation?*
  • Do you have a completed design for the proposed ADU?*
  • Do you have professional cost estimates?*
  • Do you have a building permit?*
  • Is your property in a flood zone?*
  • Does your project require planning board approval?*
  • This would be a reimbursement grant program. Do you have the ability to pay for costs upfront and await reimbursement upon project completion?*
  • If costs exceed the maximum grant amount ($125,000), do you have the ability to seek financing to fill the funding gap?*
