Funded by NZ On Air, we’re Aotearoa’s leading provider of media-access services – captioning and audio description specifically. Supported by cutting-edge technology, our talented team turns content into the shared experience it was made to be.

    About the role | Mō te tūranga

    We have full-time roles going to join the Able whānau in creating closed captions (also commonly known as subtitles). Captions help make media accessible for over 880,000 Kiwis who are D/deaf and hard-of-hearing. As a caption producer, you’ll work on content for New Zealand’s leading broadcasters.

    These full-time (40 hours per week) roles include permanent shifts of either of the following, as well as additional shift work to meet the needs of a busy broadcast schedule.

    • Monday to Friday – 5.30am to 2pm 
    • Sunday to Thursday – 11am to 7.30pm

    Editing experience or an Arts degree or similar is preferable.
