Digital Fabrication Lab Request Form

*10/02 Notice - At this time, only one laser cutter can be ran at a time. We are looking into upgrading the circuit in order to handle both laser cutters running simultaneously. 

Please bring your files, a flash drive and your laptop to the appointment. One of the Lab workers will work with you 1-on-1 to prepare your file for production. Having your laptop and the original files facilitates any modifications that we would need to make for production preparation.

Scheduling

Time Slots

Please book a day and time to meet with our team in the scheduler below. Note: all timeslots are 60 minutes in duration. Each person is limited to 1 slot per day, maximum. Once booked, just show up for your appointment! Please email digifablab@belmont.edu if you expect to be late for your appointment.

Note: If you are laser cutting, you must supervise the machine for the entirety of the job. 3D prints must be supervised for their first layer (~20min after starting)

Waitlisting

Due to high demand and limited capacity, a waitlist will be maintained on weeks that are fully booked (usually around mid-terms and finals). If you cannot book an appointment and would like access to the laser cutters or 3D printers, you may consult with the Lab Manager in-person the week of needing equipment time. We cannot guarantee that you will get access without an appointment.

Students, please DO NOT ask to use equipment on the day of needing it. Such short-notice requests will be denied. Students must ask at least ONE DAY in advance to be waitlisted. The earlier, the better and we will try our best to accommodate you.
