We invite ceramic artists and potters to submit work that highlights the expressive potential of clay. This exhibit celebrates both functional and sculptural ceramic art, including wheel-thrown, hand-built, or slip cast. We’re looking for pieces that demonstrate craftsmanship, creativity, and a personal connection to the medium. All submitted work must be original, complete, and professionally finished. Artists will be asked to note any specific display needs in the application. Pedestals and basic risers will be available, but please indicate if your work requires a specialized setup.
Requirements / Other Info:
- You may submit no more than 3 pieces for consideration in this exhibit.
- Media: Ceramics/Pottery/Clay only
- Presentation: Can be wall-hangable, stand-alone, or on a pedestal. You must indicate display requirements in your application.
- Deadline: All works must be submitted for consideration via this form by June 30th, 2026.
- Photographing Artwork: Professional-quality photos are not required for your application; however, images must meet the following guidelines to ensure your work can be accurately reviewed:
- Use a clean, non-distracting background (white or neutral preferred)
- Ensure images are sharp and in focus
- Use good lighting (avoid images that are too dark, too bright, or have too much glare)
- Present the artwork centered and straight within the frame
- All WAC exhibits are juried by a diverse panel of local artists, arts professionals, and arts business owners with backgrounds in various mediums.
- You will be notified on July 20th, 2026 of your application status.
