*Things that we provide to the volunteers in the work areas are: water, gatorade, and light snacks.

Agreement & Volunteer Release

By submitting this application, I affirm that the facts set forth in this agreement are true and complete. I agree that if I am accepted as a volunteer, any false statements or misrepresentations made by me on this application may result in my immediate dismissal.

• I agree further that I volunteer on my own free will and at my own risk. In the event of injury, I personally accept responsibility for the full expense of medical attention as well as other expenses arising out of such injury. I further agree that some volunteering projects may have inherent risks associated with them, and it is my responsibility to know what those risks are and to not follow through with any activity I may deem too high a risk for my capabilities.

• I agree to release and hold harmless the City of Conroe, the Conroe KidzFest, its sponsors, vendors and employees from and against all losses and claims or liabilities for personal damages or other damages incurred as a result of any volunteering in the Conroe KidzFest; whether or not it is resulting from either’s negligence.

• It is hereby agreed that I am not an employee of the City of Conroe, the festival, or of the sponsoring organizations or facilities; I am acting in a volunteer capacity, and as such, am not eligible for or covered under any benefit, payroll or insurance plan, or expense reimbursement as it relates to my participation as a festival volunteer.

• I agree to work all the shifts assigned to me as I have indicated my availability and respect all those with which I come in contact. I also agree to arrive for my assignment on time and not leave my position until I am relieved by another volunteer or my team leader.
