• Preston High School/Franklin County High School Scholarship Application Form

  • Must be a SENIOR to apply.

The Preston School District Scholarship Committee encourages applications from all students of Preston High School and Franklin County High School in need of financial assistance. The committee also considers scholastic achievement, academic promise, and community service in addition to financial need.

The student does not need to attend a four-year college as long as the program of study is full-time, will result in a degree or diploma, and is consistent with the student's ability. We also support two-year, vocational, and prep school programs of study. The awards are sent directly to the college/school by August 1st unless notification has been given that the student plans to defer their award.

The committee relies on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided in the application to make its decision. If the information is incomplete or inaccurate, your eligibility will be jeopardized. Both student and parents/guardian should carefully review the application for accuracy and sign where indicated.

DO NOT USE YOUR NAME OR OTHER PERSONAL IDENTIFIERS IN YOUR ESSAYS OR ON YOUR APPLICATION EXCEPT FOR THE FINAL PAGE.

THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT ON MARCH 14TH.

The committee will contact you the second week of April to let you know if you've been selected for an award. Our awards night will be April 27th at 7 pm in the PHS Auditorium. You will need to be present to accept your award. If you have any other questions about the application, please contact Tess Zollinger from the Preston Education Foundation at tess.zollinger@psd201.org.
