    in Partnership with EsoGuard/Lucid Diagnostics
  • Dear Patients,

We are excited to announce our partnership with EsoGuard to offer Esophageal Pre-Cancer and Cancer screenings!

Esophageal cancer is preventable with early detection of the pre-cancer (Barrett’s Esophagus).

    Our inaugural screening day is

    Friday, February 27th

    9:30 AM to 12 PM

Each screening is about 15 minutes maximum, though the procedure is only about 2 minutes.  Space is limited, so please contact us if you are interested in taking part.

Are you at risk for esophageal cancer?

If you answer YES to 3 or more from the list below, you are eligible to screening:

    • Chronic acid reflux/heartburn or GERD symptoms
    • Male
    • Over 50 years old
    • White race
    • Tobacco smoking
    • Obesity
    • Family history of Barrett's esophagus or esophageal adenocarcinoma (cancer) in a first-degree relative

If you had an upper endoscopy in the last 5 years, or already have a Barrett’s Esophagus diagnosis, screening is not required.

Per Lucid Diagnostics: "All insurance plans accepted.   There is no out of pocket cost if the claim is denied."  Please see attached documentation below on their billing process.
