    Summer Camp Registration 2026
  • We are so excited to announce the return of Summer Camp at DCP! After a several year hiatus, we are looking forward to a fun summer in our new space with lots of play, outdoor time, and of course friends! See below for all the details!

    • DCP summer camp is open first to ALL currently enrolled students in regular preschool programming, as well as incoming 2026-27 students ages three and up. We also have a special camp program for alumni ages 6-8 years old. Unfortunately students currently enrolled in Learn Together will be too young for summer camp for Summer 2026
    • Camp runs from 8:30-3:00 PM, Monday-Friday (with the exception of the two shorter holiday weeks which run Monday-Thursday.)
    • DCP provides a morning and afternoon snack (and maybe a popsicle or two!). Campers should plan to bring their own lunch.
    • Each week will have a theme that is incorporated into classroom activities, but we will also spend lots of time enjoying free play, outside playground time (including water play!) and walks round our campus.
    • Each week of DCP summer camp costs $495 for the week, with tuition for the two shorter weeks set at $395
    • Families may sign-up for individual weeks or the whole summer!

  • Summer Camp Schedule

  • We will hold summer camp for 9 weeks between June 1 and July 31, 2026:

Week 1: June 1-5 - Gardening - Join us for a fun week playing in the dirt and planting our pots and garden tubs for DCP’s Garden! Children will begin sprouts, talk about planting vegetables and flowers, and even enjoy some plantings to take home.

Week 2: June 8-12 - It's Not a Box! - Inspired by the beloved children’s story, It’s Not a Box, by Antoinette Portis, we will have a fun week making, building, and creating with cardboard! What will you explore? A costume? A hideout? A car with wheels? Join us for a week that is sure to be filled with imaginative play!

Week 3: June 15-18 (short week) - Endless Summer* - In preparation for the summers solstice on June 21, we will celebrate all the goodness summer has to offer! Playing outside, enjoying the sunshine, longer days, and the beauty of nature this time of year!

Week 4: June 22-26 - Animalia - Do you love visiting the zoo? Playing with your pets at home? Looking for friends from the animal kingdom when you play outside? Join your friends at DCP for a week of animal fun!

Week 5: June 29-July 2 (short week) - The Night Sky* - We will spend this week looking up and learning more about our night sky! With the full moon on June 30 (Strawberry Moon!) we'll explore moon phases, constellations, planets, and more!

Week 6: July 6-10 - Under the Sea with DCP - Take a dive into our ocean-inspired summer camp! We may be landlocked, but that won't stop us from playing in the water, learning all about ocean life, and turning our playgrounds into a day at the beach!

Week 7: July 12-17 - Rainbow Connection - All things rainbow! Paint with many colors, explore prisms, make a rainbow snack, go on a color hunt!

Week 8: July 20-24 - Won't You Be My Neighbor - Who makes up our community? We'll spend the week exploring and learning more about the community on our campus and around the Globeville/Elyria/Swansea neighborhood!

Week 9: July 27-31 - Make a mess! - Do you love sensory play at DCP? Do you long to dump, pour, mix, blend, spread, combine, and do it all over again? Now is your chance to enjoy that fun, creative, messy play that DCP does best! We will explore shaving cream, play dough, gak, ooblek, paint, and more! Bring your smock and come ready to get MESSY!

  • Payment

Once you have submitted your Summer Camp Registration form, you will receive an email confirming your placement in your requested week. We are managing many registrations, so please give us three business days to confirm your spot.

If you are a current family, you will receive an invoice through Famly. Payment is due at the time your spot is confirmed.

If you are an alumni family, our Director of Operations, Shandon Wells, will set you up in Famly. This system will also be used for camp counselors to communicate while your child is at camp.

All invoices in Famly can be paid with direct debit or a credit card. Families paying with a credit card will be responsible for covering fees.

Please note - Summer Camp registration fees are due at the time you complete your summer camp registration form and receive confirmation of your child's spot. All fees are due within seven business days of receiving confirmation of your spot in camp.

Summer camp registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. As we are forming and staffing classrooms according to registrations and the age of the children registered, we require your commitment to plan for the summer.

No refunds will be given unless a cancellation is initiated by DCP. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Cancellation

Children registering for summer camp will be cohorted by age each week that camp is offered. We do require a minimum number of students in each class to hold summer camp.

Should an age-group not fill for a given week, we will notify families of the cancellation by April 1, 2026.

In the case of a cancellation initiated by DCP, families will be refunded their registration fee for the cancelled week(s) only. DCP will notify families of the refund at the time of the cancellation announcement.
