Job Summary:
Broom Pest Control, LLC is seeking a highly motivated full-time Field Service Technician to perform residential and commercial pest control services. This position includes general pest control, termite inspection, treatment, and prevention services as part of regular job duties.
The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering professional and effective pest management services while maintaining accurate records and adhering to all company, state, and federal requirements.
Field Technician Duties
The Field Service Technician shall:
- Schedule and service assigned route(s) and accounts in a timely and professional manner, including termite inspections and services.
- Inspect structures and properties to identify pest/termite infestations, conditions conducive to infestation, and treatment needs.
- Communicate inspection findings, treatment plans, and service to office administration and customers clearly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate, legible, and complete service records.
Submit all service documentation to the office in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and professional service vehicle, tools, safety equipment, and uniform.
- Comply with all safety requirements and company operational standards.

Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates must:
- Be dependable, motivated, and able to work independently.
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and office personnel.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Maintain compliance with all Mississippi pest control licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Be able to work outdoors and in confined spaces as required.
Experience Required:
- Pest control or termite experience is highly preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Must successfully pass required background checks and drug screening.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Mississippi pest control technician licensure.
