  • HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM

    Sponsored by Birmingham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
  • Applicants should have the following Credentials: 

    • Graduating high school senior in the Birmingham Metropolitan Area attending school in one of the following counties: Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair or Walker
    • Entering college as a freshman Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 term
    • Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
    • Community Service Involvement
    • Communication Skills
    • Leadership Skills

    To Apply:

    • Complete and submit an application form online by 11:59 p.m. CST on March 1, 2026.
    • Provide (1) Community Service Letter of Recommendation on Agency Letterhead or online.
    • Please share the Letter of Recommendation form with the appropriate individuals.
    • Submit a copy of your high school transcript by March 1, 2026.
    • A photograph head shot for display and media purposes (required).
    • Complete and submit a Media Release Form. Applicants who are 17 years of age must have their parent or guardian consent by having their parent or guardian sign the online form. Click this link to access the Media Release Form.

    Notes:

    • In order to receive the scholarship award, Final Grades will be verified before scholarship funds can be disbursed.
    • Please note that it is the responsibility of the applicant to provide instructions to the community service official writing the Letter of Recommendation on their behalf.  
  • Applicants who are awarded scholarships will be notified by April 15, 2026 and will be recognized by the Chapter on May 16, 2026.
