Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc - Birmingham Alumnae Chapter
The Birmingham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is currently accepting applications for scholarships to be awarded to Miles College or Lawson State Community College students for the 2026-2027school year. An applicant has identified you as an individual that can submit a Letter of Recommendation on their behalf. Please complete the form below no later than 11:59 p.m. CST on March 1, 2026.

If responders use their professional (i.e. school, company, or agency) e-mail addresses, they may complete the section below. However, if responders use personal e-mail addresses, they must upload their Letter of Recommendation below ON OFFICIAL LETTERHEAD.

Applicants should have the following credentials:
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Minimum credit hours 12
- Community Service Involvement
- Communication Skills
- Leadership Skills
- Enrolled at Miles College or Lawson State Community College
To apply, applicants must provide a Community Service Letter of Recommendation on Agency Letterhead or online.

Note: Letters of recommendation for community service must include the number of service hours, the time period, and the activities performed by the applicant.
