One graduating senior of Royall School District
and
One Elroy Fair supporter attending first year of college and under the age of 20 as of January 1st the year of application.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be attending first year of college, technical college, or apprenticeship program and be under the age of 20 as of January 1st the year applying.
- Reside in or attend school within our fair district
- Demonstrate significant volunteerism, community service, or service-based leadership
- Plan to pursue post-secondary education or training (college, technical school, trade program, or certification)
- Minimum GPA: None required (academic effort may be considered but is not a deciding factor)
Selection Criteria
Applicants will be evaluated primarily on:
- Commitment to volunteering and community service
- Impact on a rural community
- Demonstrated compassion, initiative, and character
- Alignment with the values of service and giving back
- Thoughtfulness and sincerity of responses
Selection, Notification and Payment
Recipients will be selected by the Elroy Fair Scholarship Committee and notified by May 20, 2026
The scholarship funds will be disbursed after the recipient successfully completes their first semester of post-secondary education. To receive payment, the recipient must provide an official transcript showing completion of the first semester, along with proof of enrollment for the second semester. If the recipient is participating in an apprenticeship program, it is necessary to provide a letter from the apprentice manager or coordinator as part of the documentation. The scholarship payment will not be processed until this letter is received.
