Local access to aggregate materials is essential for maintaining and improving public infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and utilities. When materials must be hauled from long distances, project costs increase and additional strain is placed on countyroadways.
Merrill's Pit provides a practical, local solution that supports efficient infrastructure
maintenance while reducing unnecessary hauling impacts. I respectfully encourage
approval of this application.
