Get trained and certified to access the Sacramento CoC Coordinated Access System (CAS) Agency in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), where all CAS assessments are available. To do so providers must complete these steps:
1. Verify with your supervisor that you are categorized as a Sacramento-based agency servicing clients within Sacramento County.
Note: If you do not have a HMIS account, please request HMIS access here before moving onto the following steps.
2. Complete the CAS Assessor Training & Certification Intake Form details below.
3. Complete training via our self-paced online course or RSVP to join an instructor-led live virtual training.
4. Sign the CAS Assessor User Agreement: After submitting this Intake form, you’ll receive a “Thank you” email with a form included to read and e-sign the CAS Assessor User Agreement. Please check your spam/junk folders for emails from Jotform.
5. Complete the CAS Assessor Quiz: Once you’ve signed the CAS Assessor User Agreement, the CAS Assessor Quiz link will be a form included in your “Thank you” email.
There are 31 questions. Please plan for 60 minutes to complete the quiz. You will have 3 available attempts for a passing score of 25/31 and 90 days to complete these steps.
After passing the quiz, you’ll gain access to the Sacramento CoC Coordinated Access System (CAS) Agency in HMIS through your current HMIS account.
