• Sacramento CAS Assessor Training & Certification Intake Form

  • Get trained and certified to access the Sacramento CoC Coordinated Access System (CAS) Agency in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), where all CAS assessments are available. To do so providers must complete these steps:

First, verify with your supervisor that your organization is an HMIS Participating Agency in the Sacramento County HMIS system.  If your organization is not participating and you do not have an active HMIS account, you will not be able to become a CAS Assessor.  To learn more about becoming an HMIS Participating Agency or requesting access as an employee of an HMIS Participating Agency, please review the HMIS Participating Agency Request and or HMIS User Request pages.

To complete your CAS Assessor Training Process, you will need to:

    • Submit this CAS Assessor Training and Certification Intake Form
    • Complete training via our self-paced online course or RSVP to join an instructor-led live virtual training.
    • Sign and Submit your CAS Assessor User Agreement
    • Pass your CAS Assessor Quiz

After passing the quiz, you’ll gain access to the Sacramento CoC Coordinated Access System (CAS) Agency in HMIS through your current HMIS account.  Please allow 10 business days for the CAS agency to display in your portal.
