From a supply and transportation standpoint, local aggregate production is critical to reducing hauling distances, minimizing road wear, and improving overall efficiency. When materials are sourced locally, it benefits contractors, public agencies, and the county’s transportation network.
Approval of this application will strengthen local supply chains and support responsibleinfrastructure development throughout Gem County.
