I am writing to express my support for the Merrill’s Pit – Mineral Extraction SUP proposed by Granite Companies, LLC.
Access to locally produced construction materials is fundamental to economic
development and long-term infrastructure planning. Projects like Merrill’s Pit help ensure that public works, emergency repairs, and private development can proceed efficiently and responsibly.
This proposal reflects thoughtful land use and practical planning. I respectfully
encourage the Board to approve this Special Use Permit.
