I am writing in support of the Merrill’s Pit – Mineral Extraction SUP submitted by Granite Companies, LLC.
Responsible mineral extraction plays an important role in long-term community
planning. Local access to construction materials allows counties to grow thoughtfully,maintain infrastructure, and manage costs without relying on distant sources.
This application represents practical planning and a commitment to meeting local
needs locally. I encourage the Board to approve this request.
