Elite Class – Qualification & Information

Who This Class Is Designed For

The Elite Class at Cypress Golf Academy is reserved for advanced players who have demonstrated on-course competency and are ready for a higher-performance training environment.

To be considered for this class, players must have successfully passed Level 3 on the golf course.  This is a non-negotiable prerequisite.

Passing Level 3 demonstrates that a player can transfer skills from practice to the course and manage their game in a real playing environment. The Elite Class builds on that foundation.

This class is not based on age alone. It is based on proven performance, maturity, and readiness for advanced training.

Minimum Requirement

To apply, your child must:

• Have passed Level 3 on the course
• Demonstrate the ability to perform skills in real playing conditions
• Show consistency, focus, and coachability

Players who have not passed Level 3 are encouraged to continue progressing through the Academy pathway before applying. 

What Makes the Elite Class Different

The Elite Class is a higher-expectation environment designed for competitive development.

This includes:

• Smaller group sizes for individualized instruction
• Increased accountability and focus
• Structured technical and on-course performance training
• Elevated expectations for effort, preparation, and mindset
• A competitive—but supportive—training culture
  
  

This class is designed to stretch players appropriately and prepare them for tournament-level performance.

Who Is a Good Fit

Your child may be a strong candidate if they:

• Have passed Level 3 and can demonstrate on-course scoring ability
• Are internally motivated to improve
• Respond positively to detailed coaching and correction
• Practice outside of scheduled class time
• Thrive in a focused, high-standard environment
  
  

This is not a recreational class. It is for players who are serious about improving their performance.

Important Information

• Maximum enrollment: 10 players
• This is a selective placement class
• Meeting the Level 3 requirement does not guarantee acceptance
• Final selection is based on performance readiness, maturity, work ethic, and overall fit
  
  

Players who are not selected will receive clear guidance on what is needed to qualify in the future and will continue progressing within the Academy development system.
