Interfaith & Community Commitment Statement for Eastern North Carolina
As interfaith clergy, community leaders, and residents of Eastern North Carolina, we affirm our shared commitment to live together in the love of God and in respect for one another. We stand united against racism, bias, and prejudice in all their forms.We pledge to honor each other’s faith traditions, to work together as one community, and to share resources that strengthen our common life. We commit to building fellowship across every line that divides us, choosing unity over division and compassion over fear.Together, we strive to create a community and county where every person is valued, every voice is respected, and every neighbor is treated with dignity. Guided by faith, love, and mutual understanding, we seek to build a future rooted in justice, peace, and shared responsibility.
