Food stall holders 2026
  • Food and Beverage Stall Holders 2026

  • Thank you for your expression of interest in holding a stall at the Ohakune Carrot Carnival 2026, returning again for Kings Birthday weekend, Saturday 30th May, with a backup date of Saturday 24th October 2026.

Our previous Carrot Carnivals have been fantastic, successful and memorable days being held at the Thames street, Ohakune location. We had many happy stall holders and attendees with impressive ideas for the years to come, with you on board we hope to create another fun filled day for all.

Please remember stall placement is at the organizer’s discretion, and is not run on a first come come first in basis.

In alignment with our core values and for the longevity of our event we will continue to move forward in a more sustainable direction, this means we will at minimum be requiring food vendors to use recyclable food cartons with food items being sold (cardboard, wood, plastics 1,2,5) and be mindful of their waste for on the day food preparation. Merchandise stall applications will be considered and accepted upon the basis that we will not be accepting one-time plastic use and/or low quality items we deem dubious in our journey toward sustainability.

Requests to be placed next to/ or in a specific site will all be considered.

  • Stall Fees- single site size 3x3m
  • Please note: you will need to supply your own shelter (i.e gazebo) and tables. There is no power to sites.

    PLEASE READ

Food vendors are required to supply us with measurements of their trailer/ cart they will be serving from and requirements  (generators etc) for the day so we can best design a layout that fits comfortably and fairly for everyone. Please note, the towing vehicles are not permitted onsite- we do have close parking available to food stall suppliers for ease of restocking purposes.- any issues please email. Acceptance to the carnival will be based on all council food compliance forms, OCC H&S requirements and appropriate information requirements being met. As we continue to head in a more sustainable direction we ask that you do your part in being more sustainable, all food packaging (customer end) would be much preferred such as cardboard derived products, as well as utensils, we also ask that when practicable you take any rubbish you bring to the carnival home with you too.

Total Measurements of ON SITE presence (How much space in its enirety are you going to take up) this is really important to ensure we don’t have anyone turn up on the day and require more space than has been allocated.

  •

This year to comply with H&S requirements each food vendor will need to have an onsite fire extinguisher, this will be checked by an OCC committee member as soon as the morning brief finishes, this is a compulsory requirement.

Once applications are recieved and accepted an invoice will be issued, final confirmation of a space at the carnival is given upon recievement of payment.

  • Should be Empty:
