Organiser: Trackways Sculpture Inc. Committee&#13;&#10;Venue: M|Arts Precinct – 105 Wollumbin Street, Murwillumbah NSW 2484&#13;&#10;Exhibition dates: 20 June – 4 July 2026 &#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;1. Overview&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Small Worlds is a curated exhibition of small-scale sculptures presented by the Trackways Sculpture Committee to be held at M-Arts Precinct, Murwillumbah. The exhibition celebrates local environment, materials, and stories, showcasing works from Northern Rivers, Gold Coast and Scenic Rim artists. The selection committee will assess submissions based on potential for future development into outdoor or public-scale work.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Participation in this exhibition is conditional upon acceptance by the selection panel and agreement to the following Terms and Conditions.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;2. Eligibility&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Open to artists residing or working in the Northern Rivers, Gold Coast and Scenic Rim regions.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;All works must be original, created by the exhibiting artist, and available for display during the exhibition period. The work must have been created in the 2025-26 timeframe. Submitted artworks should not have been a finalist or prize winning artwork in a previous exhibition.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;3. Application Process&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Artists must submit:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;3–5 images of concept drawings or completed works&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;A 200-word artist statement&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;A current CV (maximum one page)&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Submissions close: Sunday April 5, 2026  (by 12 midnight)&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Artists will be notified of selection results by Monday April 20, 2026&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;4. Entry Fee&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;A non-refundable entry fee of $30 per work (maximum of one entry per artist) is payable upon acceptance into the exhibition.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Fees are used to assist with marketing, catalogue design, and exhibition presentation costs.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Payment details will be provided upon notification of selection.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;5. Artwork Specifications&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Sculptures must be small-scale, suitable for indoor exhibition. &#13;&#10;Maximum size: &#13;&#10;On plinth - H 100cm x W 60cm x D 60cm &#13;&#10;Free standing (floor) - H 150cm x W 100cm x D 100cm. Delivery and Collection of Works&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Delivery:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Artists must deliver works to M-Arts Precinct between 17-18 June 2026  between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Works must be clearly labelled with artist name, title, medium and contact details.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Collection:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Works must be collected between  5- 6 July 2026, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Any works not collected by this time may incur storage fees or be returned at the artist’s expense.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;7. Installation and Display&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;All display plinths and lighting will be provided and arranged by the Trackways Sculpture Committee&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;The curators reserve the right to determine placement and presentation of all artworks.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Works must remain on display for the full duration of the exhibition (20 June – 4 July 2026).&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;8. Sales and Commission&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10; No commission will be charged on sales for this exhibition.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist, and payments made directly to the artist in negotiation with the buyer.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;It is the artist’s responsibility to arrange delivery or pickup of sold works with the buyer.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Prices must include GST if the artist is registered for GST.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;9. Insurance and Risk&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;M-Arts Precinct provides public liability insurance for the venue; however, insurance of artworks remains the responsibility of the artist.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;All participating artists must hold current Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million).&#13;&#10;Acceptable providers include Flying Arts, NAVA, or Duck for Cover.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;The organisers and venue will take due care but accept no responsibility for damage, theft, or loss of artworks during transit, installation, or exhibition.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;10. Health and Safety&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;All works must comply with current Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Works deemed unsafe or unstable may be excluded at the discretion of the curator or venue manager.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Any electrical components must be tested and tagged.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Artists agree to follow all M-Arts safety procedures during delivery and installation.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;11. Prize and Awards&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;A $2,500 Small Worlds Award will be presented to one exhibiting artist for excellence in concept, craftsmanship, and potential for scale-up to outdoor sculpture.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;A Runner-up Prize consisting of a professional photography package valued at $500 will also be awarded.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;The judging panel will include an independent arts professional.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;12. Publicity and Reproduction Rights&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;By participating, artists grant the organisers permission to photograph and reproduce images of their work for:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Exhibition publicity (print, digital, and social media)&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;The online catalogue and media coverage&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Archival and educational purposes&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Artists will be credited wherever images are used.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Copyright remains with the artist at all times.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;13. Artist Responsibilities&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;By submitting and accepting entry into Small Worlds, artists agree to:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Meet all deadlines for artwork delivery, statements, and fees.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Ensure artworks are safe, stable, and suitable for public display.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Provide accurate contact information.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Attend (where possible) the opening event or one scheduled “meet the artist” session during the exhibition.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;14. Withdrawal or Non-compliance&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;If an artist withdraws after acceptance, the entry fee is non-refundable.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;The organisers reserve the right to remove any artwork that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or differs substantially from the work submitted.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;15. Agreement&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;By submitting the form on the application page, the artist confirms they have read, understood, and agree to the Terms and Conditions for participation in the Small Worlds Sculpture Exhibition at M-Arts Precinct.
