The CARE project examines technological and regulatory changes in diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy equipment since the 2012 publication of Radiation Protection Series N° 162 to create an updated publication. The consortium members, representing EIBIR, EANM, EFOMP and ESR, have spent the last 1.5 years surveying recent literature and the European societies of medical physics to collect updated acceptability criteria and best practices.
Important stakeholders from national competent authorities and professional societies, international bodies and experts, standarization organizations and industry are invited to join the consortium in Luxembourg at the Hotel Parc Belle-Vue to hear the study's results and comment on their resulting draft publication.
Registrants will receive the draft document prior to the workshop to prepare for the discussions during the workshop. A draft programme will soon be posted on the project webpage.
Registrants, other than speakers and panellists, are expected to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
