Format of the Camp

Students will live on Nebraska's city campus in the Kauffman Center overnight for the full 2-week camp. Instruction will begin the morning of Monday, July 20, and conclude with a final presentation for guests in attendance on Saturday, August 1. The cost to attend will cover all housing-related expenses, food, instruction, and activities associated with the camp.
Registration and Fees

The fee to participate is $3,000. Students attending a Nebraska high school will receive a $1,000 discount, lowering the cost to $2,000 for Nebraska students. The fee is not due until you have been admitted to the camp. This covers the cost of all housing, meals, instruction, and activities.

Full and partial scholarships are available to assist with participation in the camp. Please complete the scholarship portion at the end of this application if you are interested in being considered for a scholarship.

Application Deadlines:
- Wednesday, April 1 - Priority application deadline
- Friday, May 1 - Final application deadline
- Monday, May 11 - Applicants notified of admission and scholarship decisions
- Monday, June 8 - Admitted students' full registration payment is due to secure their spot
- Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis after May 1 if space is available.
- Please note that after Monday, June 8, 2026, unpaid spots will be filled by students on a waitlist.
If you are accepted and pay but are unable to attend, we will issue a 50% refund of the registration fee if you notify us by Friday, June 12, 2026, and a 25% refund if we are notified by Monday, June 22, 2026. Refunds will not be issued after June 22, 2026.

"Innovate: The Raikes School Way"

Summer Camp Scholarship Application

July 19-August 1, 2026

The registration fee for “Innovate: The Raikes School Way" with the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is $3,000 ($2,000 for Nebraska students). This covers all instruction, meals, housing, and activities associated with the camp. Payment will not be due until you are selected to participate in the camp.

We ask those who can afford to pay the full price to do so, but we understand not everyone can afford to pay the full registration fee. While we would like to provide assistance to all participants, we have a specific budget available to us each year for scholarships. Therefore, we determined a sliding scale that includes a range of fee options. Please consider your family income, resources, and dependents in the household when determining your requested scholarship amount. We encourage any student to apply who may need financial assistance to attend the camp.

Submitting this scholarship request will not impact your selection to attend the camp.
