The Computer Career Accelerator Fund supports students through programs that build awareness and skills in computer and IT careers. Grants are awarded to organizations offering mentorship, hands-on experiences, and opportunities that help Carbon County students explore and prepare for these growing fields.
Guidelines:
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and area school districts are encouraged to apply. If your organization is not a registered 501(c)(3), please contact us before submitting an application to see if you are eligible.
- Should primarily focus on Carbon County students (high school/college) but can include populations from surrounding counties
- Preference given to programs that offer career mentorship, hands-on work experiences, and other career guidance.
- Can support existing or new programs
- Grants can be single year or multi-year. If applying for multiple years, please include breakdown in timeline and budget detail.
- Looking to encourage collaborations across organizations serving Carbon County students
- Grants average $5,000 - $10,000
