    This request form will allow to book any examinations you wish to do with IDTA.

  • Please note that the maximum total duration is 8 hours, including two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute break.

  • The examination session must be timed according to the published syllabus. These are set for each grade and medal test. You must supply to the Examiners, in advance, a correct timetable including breaks.

  • Total number of examinations = Number of students x Number of examinations per student

    Example: 5 students, each doing 3 examinations, equals 15 examinations.

    • CLASSICAL AWARD 1 & 2 is only available in Ballet.
    • T.A.P. AWARD is only available in TAP.
    • CLASSWORK ASSESSMENT (PRIMARY-GRADE 5) can only be examined in Ballet, Tap, Theatre Craft and Contemporary Modern Jazz.
    • GENERAL DANCE PROGRAMME AND SCHOOLS IN GENERAL is not available at Preparatory level.

    • Pre-Associate and Associate examinations can only be taken by overseas candidates. Overseas candidates are also allowed to take a Level 3 and/or Level 4 Diplomas.

    Please read the information below before submitting this form. Thank you.
  • Deadlines: This form must be sumitted at least eight weeks before the actual date required for the examinations. Report Forms will not automatically be sent unless requested by you.

    Fees: The procedure for examination sessions is described in the appropriate syllabus. The fees for each daily session must amount to a minimum of £425 for an in-person exam session or £225 for a live-stream exam session. Please note that you must inform Head Office immediately should you wish to cancel an examination session. A charge of £150.00 will be applied if teachers fail to notify Head Office at least two weeks before the date of the examination. For any rescheduling of a session(s) where an examiner has been allocated, additional fees may apply.

    Filming and photography policy in all amateur and professional IDTA examinations: To prioritise the safety and well-being of all participants, we are prohibiting any filming or photography during open exam sessions, with immediate effect. This decision will not only help prevent potential abuses of images or footage but will also help maintain a focused, respectful, and secure environment for everyone involved.

    Livestream & Video examinations: Please be advised that livestream examinations are randomly selected for recording, as we may use them for training and monitoring purposes.
