Autumn Botanicals:
Creating Fabulous, Fall Mixed-Media Collages

Mondays, October 19th, & 26th from 1:00-3:00 pm

This two-session series is designed for those who want to explore the playful world of mixed-media collage.

In these classes, you'll learn how to paint & texture your own collage papers, combine them with photos, fabric, magazine clippings, ephemera, & other found papers to build rich, layered botanical compositions.

By the end of the series, you'll leave with a finished collage and the confidence to continue creating on your own at home.

Ideal for beginners and experienced artists a like!

Fee: $65.00 – covers both classes & all materials needed

All you need is a willingness to experiment.

Creating Beautiful Peacock Collages

Mondays, November 2nd, 9th, & 16th
from 1:00-3:00 pm

 

In this 3-part class beginner-friendly mixed media collage series will explore a variety of collage styles and techniques.  You will learn simple techniques for creating your own colorful collage paper with watercolors, acrylics, pastels, etc., and by using a variety of paper types. Then you will be able to create your own original mixed-media collages. 

This class will create gorgeous peacock collages made out of painted paper, photos, fabric, magazine pages, ephemera and any other kinds of paper that you choose.

At the end, you will have created a multicolored 2-D mixed-media peacock collage you can hang on your wall and developed the skills & confidence to create mixed media collages at home on your own.

Fee: $99.00 – covers all 3 classes (2 hours each) & all materials needed

Scenic Landscape Collages

Mondays, December 7th & 14th
from 1:00-3:00 pm

In this 2-week collage workshop you will create scenic landscape collages by building up skills learned weekly through exploration of a variety of collage styles and techniques, such as painting paper, layering, using stencils, magazines and photos. 

This series is ideal for beginners and experienced artists alike who are interested in developing a personal collage style, and exploring creative expression in a supportive, process-focused environment. All you need is a willingness to experiment.

You will also become familiar with some well-known collage artists, who depict scenes from nature, and we will discuss them in class. In this class will create gorgeous landscape collages made out of painted paper, photos, fabric, magazine pages, ephemera and any other kinds of paper that you choose.  

Fee: $65.00 – covers both classes & all materials needed

All you need is a willingness to experiment.

Submission of this registration form reserves your spot in class.

If the class becomes more than half full, prepayment will be required to hold your space. Payment may be made in person or online through an invoice and must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the start of class.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel, you must provide at least 7 days’ notice, regardless of whether you have prepaid or plan to pay in person. This policy allows the instructor to prepare supplies appropriately and ensures that spaces are available for others.

Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice or failure to attend will result in full payment being due, and an invoice will be issued.
