Creating Structural Landscapes & Cityscapes
A Beginner Friendly Mixed Media Collage Series

Dates: August 10th, 17th & 24th
Time: 1:00 – 3:00pm

Explore collage styles and techniques for creating structural landscapes and cityscapes using hand-painted papers and mixed media.

In this series, you'll:
*Paint your own colorful collage papers with watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and more
*Layer fabric, stencils, stamps, and ephemera
*Learn simple techniques for building landscapes and cityscapes
*Discover inspiring mixed media artists

Nature in Collage
Creating a Nature Notebook with Collage

Dates: September 14th, 21st & 28th
Time: 1:00 – 3:00pm

Create an artistic collage notebook inspired by nature and beautiful scenery.

In this 3-week workshop, you'll build skills week by week through exploration of a variety of collage styles and techniques—painting paper, layering, using stencils, magazines, and photos.

This series is ideal for beginners and experienced artists alike who are interested in developing a personal collage style and exploring creative expression in a supportive, process-focused environment.

You'll also:
*Discover well-known collage artists who depict nature
*Watch video demonstrations of mixed media methods
*Create a notebook of colorful nature collages to continue at home

Fee: $99.00 – includes all materials

All you need is a willingness to experiment.

Submission of this registration form reserves your spot in class.

If the class becomes more than half full, prepayment will be required to hold your space. Payment may be made in person or online through an invoice and must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the start of class.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel, you must provide at least 7 days’ notice, regardless of whether you have prepaid or plan to pay in person. This policy allows the instructor to prepare supplies appropriately and ensures that spaces are available for others.

Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice or failure to attend will result in full payment being due, and an invoice will be issued.

Email info@can-nc.org with any questions, concerns, or to receive a refund prior to the 7-day policy if prepaid.
