  • HOLES FORE HOPE/Minnesota PGA Associates Scholarship Program

    The Minnesota Section PGA and Holes Fore Hope is proud to present the 2026 Associate Scholarship Program. Holes Fore Hope has committed funds to help our Section Associates offset the cost of the PGA of America Associate Program.
  • Important Scholarship Information

    • Applications are due by Friday, April 17, 2026.
    • Along with each application, the applicant must submit a one-page essay.
    • Eligible Applicants can be of the following "B" Classifications: B-1 to B-23.

    An incomplete application submitted by the applicant will not be eligible for the 2026 Holes Fore Hope/Minnesota Section PGA Associate Scholarship.

  • I. Purpose

  • The purpose of the HOLES FORE HOPE/Minnesota Section Associate Scholarship is to assist Associates in their education progression through the PGM Program. Its mission is to foster an environment that will allow our members to grow professionally.

  • II. Eligibility

  • Applicants for the 2026 HOLES FORE HOPE/Minnesota Section Associate Scholarship need to be a 2026 Associate in good standing with the Minnesota Section PGA and have completed Level One of the PGA’s PGM Program.

  • III. Scholarship(s)

  • The HOLES FORE HOPE/Minnesota Section Associate Scholarship program is designed to award scholarships to Associates of the Minnesota Section of the PGA. The amount of the scholarship(s) is/are determined by the availability of funds. Payments will be made to the Associate upon completion of the Level they are completing. 

  • IV. Selection of Winners

  • Associate Scholarship recipients will be selected on the following criteria:

    1. One-Page Essay
      The One-page essay will be the only requirements for the HOLES FORE HOPE/Minnesota Section Associate Scholarship.

    Once the nominees have been finalized, the Section’s Board of Directors will then vote and announce the Associate Scholarship winners at the Minnesota Section PGA Spring Update meeting May 4, 2026 at Olympic Hills GC. 

  • V. Information/Policies and Procedures

  • The funds designated for scholarships are managed by the HOLES FORE HOPE FOUNDATION.


    The Minnesota Section PGA, which covers the areas of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and a small portion of Wisconsin, consists of over 100 Associate members annually.


    The Minnesota Section PGA is mandated not to discriminate according to federal and state statutes. The final selection process will be made by the Minnesota Section PGA Board of Directors. No announcements will be made before the applicants receive notification from the Minnesota Section PGA. If additional funds become available, the Board may grant additional scholarships to worthy applicants.

     

  • VI. Associate Application Form

  • The 2026 HOLES FORE HOPE/Minnesota Section PGA Associate Scholarship Application Form requests Associate’s background information required for scholarship processing.


    To be considered for a 2026 HOLES FORE HOPE/Minnesota Section PGA Associate Scholarship, the applicant must fill out the form completely.

    The application must be received by Friday, April 17, 2026.
    The application must be filled out in its entirety or it will not be considered.

    The information supplied will be kept confidential by the Minnesota Section PGA Board of Directors.
