  • Electronic Payments must be received within 10 days of application acceptance to keep your booth reservation. You will be notified by email regarding the status of your application. If accepted, a link to the payment portal will be provided. Booths are first come, first serve provided they are within our guidelines such as family friendly, number of like booths paid, etc.

    This year's Founders Week Festival is a 2-day event with various activities. Vendors will be set up on the following dates:

    Friday, June 19 from 5 PM-10:30 PM

    Saturday, June 20 from 10 AM-10:30 PM

    The festival will be held at the NEW Charlestown Commons and the City Square.

    Activities at the weekend festival include live entertainment, drone show, music, arts and crafts, food, games, and business exhibits. There is fun for the entire family! Come join us for our celebration.

    There are 2 types of vendor categories for this application. Register early in order to make your space is reserved. No refunds will be given.

    1. Arts & Crafts Market Place and Direct Sales Vendors

    2. Business/Informational Exhibitors/Non-profit Organizations

    If you need special accommodations in either category, please note them on your application. We will make every effort to help.

    Water and Power: Electrical power outlets are available on a first reserved-first served basis. Users must supply their own extension cords/cables. 

    Sales: All sales are conducted strictly between vendor and buyer. Vendors are required to conduct such sales on an ethical basis. In no way will the Charlestown Beautification Committee and/or the City of Charlestown be held responsible for any transaction nor guarantee sales volume. The festival must approve all products for sale. No free food or water may be given away. Minimum charge for drinks must be $1.00.

    Garbage & Recycling: Please keep your area neat and clean. Check your booth space periodically and when you leave at night. There will be a trash dumpster and cans available at the festival. If booth space is not left clean and free of debris at the end of the Festival, vendor must pay a clean-up penalty.

    Parking: There is no reserved parking. Parking is available on side streets around the Festival area. There is no parking within the Festival area. Golf cart shuttles are provided.

    Set Up Time: Set up times will be Friday, June 19 from 8 AM-4:30 PM and Saturday, June 20 from 7 AM-9:30 AM. Vendors will be able to unload vehicles near the assigned booth area or off Short Street, depending on your booth location. Vehicles must be removed from the festival area once unloaded by 4:30 PM on Friday and 9:30 AM on Saturday. Festival grounds open to the public at 5 PM on Friday and 10 AM on Saturday. 

    Festival Hours

    Friday, June 19, 2026 from 5-10:30 PM

    Saturday, June 20, 2026, 10 AM - 10:30 PM

    Vendors must stay open during all operation hours. Upon closing, vendors may dismantle their booth, but refrain from carrying large, bulky items through the crowd. Please wait with your dismantled booth until directed to retrieve your vehicle. This prevents any accidents/jams and will be enforced. There are no vehicles permitted in the festival area during festival hours. DO NOT move barricades and enter the festival area during festival hours. 

    Eligibility: All vendors are eligible to apply to the festival. Acceptance will be based on appropriateness, product uniqueness, and if the product will enhance the overall experience and quality of the festival. There will be a limit to the number of vendors with the same or similar product. There will be only one direct sales representative per company. Booths are reserved on a first come, first served basis and no booth will be reserved without the application being approved and payment received.

    Home Based Vendors: You are required to be current and comply with all Indiana State Rules and Regulations for your business, including displaying any required permits.

    Please read these terms and conditions carefully and complete the application. By signing the application, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Applicant must complete and electronically sign application for each booth.

    Terms and Conditions

    1. All booths must be operated and attended during the scheduled hours.

    2. Vendors are not allowed to "rove" with their merchandise or impede upon any other vendor booth.

    3. No illegal substances such as drugs and/or drug paraphernalia.

    4. No animals/pets, this is for the safety of our participants and attendees.

    5. No guns or other mechanical weaponry.

    6. This is a "rain or shine" event with no rain date scheduled. No refunds will be made due to weather conditions.

    7. No alcoholic beverages, loud music, televisions or hawking are allowed within the booth vicinity.

    8. All booths must be family friendly.

    9. No fireworks of any kind are permitted. (Firecrackers, smoke bombs, sparklers, and/or stink bombs)

    10. No smoking is permitted in the booth and each booth must have at least one 8X10 No Smoking sign posted which must be visible.

    11. No vehicles are permitted in the festival area during festival hours.

    12. At festival closing, please dismantle your booth and wait to be directed to retrieve your vehicle and proceed onto the festival grounds.

    13. Booth spaces are reserved for the signing applicant. Spaces are not to be sublet or gifted to an unauthorized vendor.

    14. No booth sharing. One business per booth.

    15. Canopy tents must be weighted down at all times. No exceptions.

  • Check in date and times, along with your booth assignment, will be emailed to you the week before the event. 

    By signing this application, I agree not to hold the Charlestown Beautification Committee, Charlestown Community Days Celebration or its volunteers or the City of Charlestown responsible for any damage or theft which might occur to any of my personal property, my booth and/or sales items during my participation in this festival. I accept responsibility for all individuals working in my booth space. I also understand that any fees for my participation in this event are non refundable. I also understand there are to be no vehicles within the Festival area during festival times.

    Anyone selling inappropriate items or items in bad taste will be asked to pull that product or leave the festival immediately. This festival is incorporated around family activities including children.

    I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for losses and damages I may have against the Charlestown Beautification Committee, Charlestown Community Days Celebration and/or the City of Charlestown, and all other parties and their representatives, successors, and assignees for any and all injuries and all claims of damages, demands, and actions whatwoever which may arise as a result of participation in this festival. I hereby grant full permission to any and all forgoing to use photographs, videotapes or motion pictures of this festival for any purpose related to the festival, future festivals, beneficiary or sponsor.
