The City of Canby invites musicians, performers, and entertainers to share their interest in participating in a variety of community events held throughout the year. Entertainment opportunities may vary based on event needs and available funding, and the City strives to make the most effective use of its entertainment budget while providing engaging, high-quality experiences for the community. Artists of all genres are encouraged to apply and help create engaging, family-friendly experiences for residents and visitors alike. *Submission of Entertainment Application does not guarantee performance at desired event, City Staff will follow up with additional details.

Canby's First Thursday Night Market

• When: First Thursday of each month Time: 5pm-8pm
• Location: Downtown Canby between Holly + Grant Street along 2^nd + 1^st Avenue.

Canby's Independence Day Celebration

• When: July 4^th, Annually Time: 9am-3pm
• Location: Wait Park and 2^nd Avenue between Grant + Holly

Canby's Big Night Out Street Dance

• When: August 28, 2026 Time: 5pm-10pm
• Location: 2^nd Avenue and Grant Street

Canby's Spooktacular Village

• When: October 31^st, Annually Time: 3pm-6pm
• Location: 2^nd Avenue between Grant and Holly Street.

Canby's Light Up The Night

• When: First Friday of December, Annually Time: 6pm-8pm
• Location: Wait Park

The City has a limited budget available for the various events and make the most of what is allotted. This has also been a great opportunity for gaining exposure to artists.
