Jazz Camp A - July 6-9, 9AM-11AM:

New to jazz improv: Learn about embellishing a melody, soloing with the blues scale, phrasing, and ear training. Should have at least 2 years of band.
Jazz Camp B - July 6-9, 11:30AM-1:30PM:

Intermediate level: Already understand concepts of embellishing a melody, soloing with the blues scale, phrasing, and ear training.

WAIVER AND RELEASE

Please review and acknowledge the following agreements.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK - I understand that participation in Ted Brown Music Outreach's music programs involves certain risks, including but not limited to: physical activity during performances, use of musical equipment and instruments, potential hearing exposure to loud music, and interaction with other participants. I acknowledge these risks and voluntarily assume them.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY - In consideration for allowing my child to participate in Ted Brown Music Outreach's programs, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Ted Brown Music Outreach, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by the participant while participating in such activities.
MEDICAL TREATMENT AUTHORIZATION - In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Ted Brown Music Outreach staff to secure necessary medical treatment for my child. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
CODE OF CONDUCT - I understand that participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward staff, volunteers, and other participants. Ted Brown Music Outreach reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY - Full refund until 14 days before program start. 50% refund for cancellations 7-13 days before. No refunds for cancellations less than 7 days before program start.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE - I grant permission for Ted Brown Music Outreach to photograph and video record my child during program activities. I consent to the use of these images and recordings for promotional, educational, and fundraising purposes in any media format, including but not limited to: print materials, website, social media, video productions, presentations, and news media. I understand that no compensation will be provided for this use.
