    This form is a contract between you and Subculture LLC (DBA Subculture Expeditions) an Oregon limited liability company, hereafter referred to as SUBCULTURE, that you agree to by ticking the box at the bottom, signing and submitting this form. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions and to refuse service at any time and we will notify you by email to the address provided below if that is the case.

    Initial Deposit:

     

    If you are booking:

    • More than 365 days prior to the trip start date, a $1500 deposit is required
    • 365 to180 days before trip start date, 50% of the trip cost is required
    • Less than 180 days before the trip start date 100% of the trip cost is required

    The first deposit is fully refundable until 365 days before the cruise. Less than 365 days and more than 180 days before the trip start date a $1500 cancellation fee will be charged.

     

    Second Deposit:

     

    If booking less than 365 days before a trip there is no second deposit required, the first deposit of 50% of the cruise fare is all that is required.

    All other bookings require 50% of the remaining balance to be paid as a second deposit, due 365 days before trip start date.

    The second deposit, along with the initial deposit (if applicable) may be refunded up to 180 days before the start of the cruise less a $1500 cancellation fee being charged.

     

    Final Payment:

     

    Final payment is due 180 days before the start date of the trip.

    At less than 180 days no refunds are given unless we are able to fill your spot with a FULL PAYING customer that is accepted by SUBCULTURE or by the entity on whose behalf SUBCULTURE is acting as an agent. Should we be unable to find a full paying customer to take your spot but able to find a customer willing to pay some amount less than the full price you agreed to pay, we reserve the right to deduct any discount necessary to fill the spot at the full price you agreed to pay from your refund. Replacement guests must be approved by SUBCULTURE, or the entity for whom SUBCULTURE is acting as agent to take the cancelled spot, we reserve the right to refuse a replacement. If you choose to receive no refund your space will remain empty.

     


     

    Failure to Pay & Fees

     

    Failure to pay by the date above may result in the forfeiture of your booking and all deposits paid up to that point. Invoices will be sent prior to the due date. You are responsible for all fees resulting from the transfer of funds to Subculture.

     


     

    Travel Insurance

    You are responsible for obtaining travel and dive insurance. Why? For example, if you get sick or injured the day before the trip and cannot come, we will not refund you, you need insurance for that.  No credit or refund is granted for personal emergencies, medical conditions, airline misconnections, airline delays or other causes of force majeur. We recommend all clients and all those accompanying them are covered for the full time of their visit against illness, injury, medical evacuation, death, loss of baggage and personal items during travel with SUBCULTURE, flight and accommodation cancellation and other travel contingencies.
