Who are we? We are GNE (Great New England). We have been hosting high quality handmade product Craft & Artisan Shows (www.GNECraftArtisanShows.com) and Food Truck Festivals (www.GNEFoodTruckFest.com) for more than 10 years now!
We have a heavy following in Southern NH for all of our events as we held our first ever event at the Hampshire Dome 11 years ago and continue to host 4 events there a year.
Why are you hosting a Gluten Free Expo? Our Director is a Celiac with Chrons and for years we have always made sure we had Gluten Free food at our events for her and her Celiac/Gluten Sensitive followers. We have been asked for year to offer this Expo and finally have the time to focus on the extensive planning and logistics that go into such an event. ... and we couldn't be more excited at all the interest to date!!
Why participate? We have an astonighing marketing reach and use great communication. Our events are very well attended! Our booth fees are very reasonable and entrance fees low (a $10 two day admission). You will not be disappointed!
What else will be offered at the Expo? Live Music, a KidsZone, Activities, A Cash bar with GF Beer, Wine and Seltzers. Food Trucks, Lectures and Workshops are the plan. Cleaners will be onsite throughout the event. We will have 5-7 parking staff assisting to park vehicles. Complimentary water bottles all weekend. Vendor discounted coffee and danish Sat & Sun. What is required of me for Food/Beverage offerings? All offerings must be Gluten Free or Vegan Free or Gluten Friendly. We need to be 100% accurate. To ensure everything labeled Gluten Free is indeed GF...with no cross-contamination possible. Sorry if I contact you with questions, I just need to ensure we have certified Gluten Free products without cross contamination in one area and Gluten Friendly products in another. Labeling will be important.
You will be required to have a food license. If you fall under the Cottage Law/Home Baker License..such as bakeries and share kitchens.. they are acceptable but we must understand your process to ensure no cross contamination. We will need to understand your preparation process. All ingredients must be posted at your booth or on the product.
We will need a Certificate of Insurance listing GNE as an additional insured. If you plan to offer samples, you will need a ServeSafe certificate. Phew! But that is alll and should be easy for you to obtain.
Will the Health Department inspect? YES! As long as you have the items listed above you will be allset. NO additional permitted needed in Milford, NH- we cover it all. The Fire and Health departments will be by each booth on Saturday morning prior to opening. The inspection will begin at 9am sharp. All participants must be at your booth ready for any inspection questions by 9am for a prompt public opening at 10am.
Is there WIFI? Yes, WIFI is included at no fee with a dedicated line for just vendors.
Is there an ATM? Yes, at the front of the Dome. We will probably bring in two.
Is there onsite Storage? Yes, we have an extra turf field for you to store your empty bins, inventory, boxes, wagon, carts on for the duration of the weekend. This makes move out super easy!
Is there overnight security or do I have to break down? Yes, overnight security. We have plenty of video cameras and our Director locks the Dome behind her and will be the first to open in the morning.
Does the venue allow for overnight parking? Yes, you may park and sleep overnight in your vehicle or trailer or like. We will ask for vehicle descriptions as we get closer to September.
Do you have a Hotel Room Block for vendors and guests? Yes, upon acceptance you will be provided with details to reserve at The Holiday Inn Express just 10 minutes from the Dome. Rate is $119 - Includes Breakfast- Free Parking.
Is there pipe and drape behind my booth? Yes, we have a rental company set up pipe and drape. Each booth, unless using a tent frame, will have 8' pipe and drape behind them. Drape colors will be green and white.
Is there storage at the venue? Yes, we have plenty of additional space for empty bins, boxes, wagons, dollies..etc. Leaving them inside speeds along the move out process on Sunday.
Do I have to participate two days? Not sure why you wouldn't want to as we do offer Free Sunday admission to guests with a paid Saturday admission. Additionally, admission after 3pm on Sunday is free. Unless we have an abunance of one day interest, we prefer you participate both days.
