Please Note the Program Dates: This is for the 2024 -2025 School Year (last year)
Sierra Nevada Swimming (SNS) would like to recognize our High School Athletes for their academic achievements in the classroom during the 2024-2025 academic school year with the annual recognition of the SNS Scholar-Athlete Award.
To be eligible, an Athlete must:
- Have been in the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade during the 2024-2025 academic year; students that just completed their Freshman Year through Graduating Seniors.
- Have a grade point average of 3.25 or Higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Be a member in good standing of a USA Swimming Member Club within the Sierra Nevada LSC.
- Submit an Online Application (Involves the Entering of Identifying Info & the Uploading of a COPY of 2024-2025 Academic Transcript) no later than FRIDAY, February 20, 2026
- The copy of the transcript that applicants submit must include grades earned through the end of the 2024-2025 academic school year.
- Reminder – As in previous years, Athletes that were named to USA Swimming’s Scholastic All-America (SAA) Team for 2024-2025, you DO NOT need to send in an application for SNS Scholar-Athlete Award – you are AUTOMATICALLY awarded.
Once the Online Application has been submitted, the applicant will receive an email confirmation. If the applicant does NOT receive a confirmation within 48 hours, they should consider their application as NOT having been received. If a confirmation is NOT received, an applicant should follow-up by sending an email message to the SNS Scholar-Athlete Award Program at admin@snswimming.org and/or re-submit an application.
