EOI – Annual Scientific Meeting 2027 Working Group

The 2027 Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) will take place in Auckland, Aotearoa, with workshops on Sunday 7 and Thursday 11 November, and the main Meeting days on Monday 8 – Wednesday 10 November.

The working group is open to ACEM members across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

The ASM Working Group Chair is identified as a senior FACEM who is responsible for chairing meetings, and to assist the working group by referencing any relevant guidelines or policies that may need to be adhered to when delivering outcomes or recommendations. Please note that the role of Working Group Chair is eligible to receive CPD under the new Leadership activity. From 1 January 2026, an additional High-Level Requirement (HLR) leadership activity and reflection has been introduced for all specialist emergency medicine physicians.

ACEM Core Values Module

The ACEM Core Values of respect, integrity, collaboration, and equity define the organisations guiding principles, and underpin the way ACEM works in order to meet its vision and mission of ensuring the highest standards are maintained in the training of emergency physicians, and in the provision of emergency care to the communities of Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
