To qualify for multiple mare discounts, mares must be registered to the same owner. No frozen semen currently.
  • Collection & Shipping Semen: On-Site Artificial Insemination at Equine-Reproduction.com LLC, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma (www.equine-reproduction.com) does not include any fees for the Mare and only includes Stallion collections and insemination fees. Mare Owner is responsible for all payments to Equine-Reproduction.com LLC for board, medications, or diagnostic tests. If Mare is deemed unsuitable for breeding by Equine-Reproduction.com LLC, they are under no obligation to perform inseminations, and Stallion Owner may terminate agreement.
  • Domestic shipments are included in the Breeding Fee which include collections, container, and FedEx priority overnight shipping. Airline counter to counter will be an additional $100 charge. Cooled or Frozen Semen will be shipped on Monday thru Friday from February 1st through July 1st with responsibility of the Mare Owner to pay the return cost of the shipping container. The Stallion Owner is NOT responsible for shipments once it leaves our possession.

  • Cooled or Frozen Semen will be shipped to the following contact and address listed as provided by the Mare Owner.

  • The Mare Owner certifies that the Cooled or Frozen Semen will only be handled by a veterinarian experienced in equine artificial insemination and experience in the use and handling of frozen semen. Each shipment will contain enough semen to inseminate one mare. One dose will be shipped although extra may be sent; they are not guaranteed.

  • Mare Condition and Ownership: The Mare Owner attests that the mare is healthy, in sound breeding condition and free from disease and infection. The mare owner certifies that the address of record for shipment is a facility for, and with a veterinarian competent in, equine artificial insemination. If multiple shipments are requested, Stallion owner reserves the right to request a negative uterine culture, cytology, or biopsy prior to sending further shipments.

  • Mare Owner Responsibility:

  • The Mare Owner agrees to assume responsibility for all aspects of breeding the Mare and agrees to comply with all breed registry requirements concerning the use and handling of cooled / frozen semen. Any attempt to use any portion of any semen shipped to Mare Owner to breed any mare other than the Mare listed will automatically terminate all obligations of the Stallion Owner under this Breeder's Agreement and result in forfeiture of all breeding fees and the right to a breeder's certificate. Stallion Owner in sole discretion, may refuse to ship semen if believing the insemination is not proper or the Mare is not healthy.
  • Live Foal Guarantee:

  • The Mare Owner is guaranteed one "live foal," meaning a foal which stands, nurses, and lives for 24 hours. If the Mare proves barren, aborts her first foal, or the foal is stillborn, with proper certification, the Mare may rebreed subject to additional payment for full Collection Fee and shipping charges. Proper certification requires a written notification by a licensed veterinarian within seven days after the foaling or aborting that the Mare did not produce a live foal. The breeder's certificate must be returned, if issued. The return breeding is void and the Stallion Owner released from all liability if the Mare was not checked in foal at 30-days by a licensed veterinarian, or the Mare is sold by the Mare Owner prior to foaling.
  • Multiple Foals:

  • The payments of this contract are for one foal for the 2026 breeding season for this Mare. Should more than one embryo or foal result from breeding, Mare Owner will pay an additional Breeding Fee within 60 days of confirmed foal for each additional embryo or resulting foal. No breeding certificate for any foal will be issued without the Multiple Foals payment.
  • Termination or Substitution:

  • If the Stallion dies or becomes unfit for breeding, in the opinion of the Stallion Owner, and no frozen semen is available, this Breeding Contract shall terminate, and the Breeding Fee will be refunded to the Mare Owner. If the Mare dies before semen is shipped, another mare may be substituted only with the written consent of the Stallion Owner.
  • Breeder's Certificate:

  • Upon notification of birth of a live foal, and the completion of all Mare Owner obligations under this Breeding Contract, Stallion Owner will release AQHA certificates on-line at AQHA.COM. All other certificates will be submitted according to the breed registry. Mare Owner must contact the Stallion Owner no later than August 1st, of the foaling year of a live foal. Any late fees or costs for failure to notify Stallion Owner of a live foal or additional breed registrations will be the responsibility of the Mare Owner.
  • This agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties and may be amended only in writing signed by each of the parties.
  • This agreement only becomes binding when the Stallion Owner has a signed copy of this Breeding Contract, the Mare Owner has paid all fees and the Stallion Owner accepts and notifies the Mare Owner.
